Well, it’s finally that time of year again: the day before the Academy announces their nominees for the 2021/2022 Academy Awards.

As always, the academy can make calls some weird calls, especially in the directing and technical categories, but I’d be surprised if they went with any nominees who weren’t somewhere on this list.

Below, I have given my predictions for each category as well as marked the films I believe should win in each category based on the films I have seen so far among the likely nominees.
